Oscar: I hate little notes on my pillow. Like this morning. ‘We’re all out of cornflakes. F.U.’ It took me three hours to figure out that ‘F.U.’ was Felix Unger. It’s not your fault, Felix. It’s a rotten combination.
The Odd Couple
This is getting really awful.
What are they doing now?
It took me a little while, but I found the Facebook page for Cooper Farminson, for the branch office where Sam Larramore works. It looks like the Disgruntled found it too. It was a normal, average FB page until two days ago, with fifteen positive comments on it from satisfied customers, but they made an announcement today that they had to close the page to comments because of angry attacks from an outside group.
DA FUCs strike again.
Never mind. I wonder how Sam's taking all this.
Not well, I imagine. His FB page was totally deactivated last night.
What about his church? Did they attack there too?
I don't know. I couldn't find their FB page. I looked around for over an hour.
Are you kidding me? You can't find a FB page for one little Baptist church?
YOU should try finding a FB page for a Faith Baptist Church in Sam's town! It's almost impossible unless you have a friend who's already connected to it, and none of my friends are. It's not an FCU approved church, and there are just too darn many Faith Baptists out there to sort through them all.
Alecia, you swore! I'm proud of you!
No I didn't!
Yes, you did, and I have the screen shots to prove it! Be nice or I'll send them to FCU! Or maybe straight to DA FUCS.
Shut up, John.
The Sam Larramore Hall of Shame page had been up for four days, and in all that time we hadn't seen or heard from Win anywhere online. She was probably devastated, completely unplugged from the computer, trying to hide and pretend none of this had ever happened. I couldn't imagine what she, her family, or even Clark were thinking these days.
I found the web page for Sam's church, not on FB. Looks like it's under attack too.
Send me the link.
God, you're getting pushy!
Alecia was getting kind of cranky these days. I knew it was because of what she saw happening to Win. She didn't like to see anyone being mistreated.
John, where are you tonight?
I'm at home, for once. Tomorrow I'm going to Atlanta. I'll be spending a couple hours at the library where Bonita likes to hang out, installing an update for them.
Wouldn't it be funny if you actually saw Bonita there?
There's a good chance that'll happen. She usually posts in the early or mid-afternoon, and I plan on getting there by one.
Would she recognize you if she saw you?
I doubt it. She's only seen my FB profile pic as far as I know, and that's a few years old. I've cleaned up a bit since then.
You should introduce yourself to her.
I don't think so.
Or maybe you could pretend to be a complete stranger and strike up a totally random conversation with her. You could ask her what she does there so often and maybe find out what the Disgruntled are planning to do next.
You're crazy. I'm not going to do that.
Or you could be really brave and ask her out! Take her out for lunch and find out everything you can about her. With any luck you'll find something we can send to Win and she can use it to fight back against them. Come on, John, you have to do this!
Not gonna happen. Come up with another plan.
Be nice or I'll tell Janna you're hitting on other women when you're away from home.
Shut up Alecia.
